Building & Construction

Building and construction applications place high demands on materials, requiring consistent performance over long service lives and across varied environments. We supply foam and rubber-based components used within construction projects where sealing, insulation, protection and vibration control are critical to building performance.

Our approach is based on understanding how materials behave once installed, supporting solutions that perform reliably under compression, movement, exposure and time.

Materials We Supply

We supply and convert a range of foam and rubber materials commonly specified for building and construction applications. Materials are selected based on their ability to provide sealing, insulation, vibration control and long-term durability within internal and external environments.

Sealing & Environmental Protection Materials

These materials are used to prevent the ingress of air, water, dust and contaminants, while accommodating movement and compression.

  • EPDM sponge rubber
Widely used for building seals and gaskets due to its resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure, and its ability to maintain performance over long service periods.
  • Neoprene sponge rubber
Used where durability and resistance to general environmental exposure are required, including sealing and cushioning applications within building systems.
  • Closed-cell polyethylene foams, including cross-linked grades
Used for sealing, spacing and protection applications where low moisture absorption and dimensional stability are important.

Insulation, Cushioning & Vibration Control Materials

These materials are used to reduce noise transmission, manage thermal performance and isolate vibration within structures.

  • Polyethylene foams
Closed-cell foams used for thermal insulation, impact reduction and acoustic decoupling within floors, walls and building assemblies.
  • Polyurethane foams
Used for cushioning, gap filling and insulation applications where softer compression behaviour is required.
  • Neoprene and EPDM rubber materials
Commonly specified for vibration isolation, load distribution and impact reduction within construction assemblies and building services installations.
