Aerospace applications demand materials that perform consistently under controlled tolerances, repeated loading and demanding operating conditions. We supply foam and rubber-based components used within aerospace systems where sealing, protection, insulation and vibration control are required.
Our approach is focused on material behaviour, dimensional accuracy and repeatability, supporting components that integrate reliably within aerospace assemblies and maintenance environments.
Materials We Supply
We supply and convert a range of foam and rubber materials commonly used in aerospace and aviation-related applications. Materials are selected based on weight, consistency, compression behaviour, environmental resistance and suitability for controlled manufacturing environments.
Sealing & Environmental Protection Materials
These materials are used where controlled sealing performance and resistance to environmental exposure are required.
- Silicone sponge rubber
Widely used in aerospace sealing applications due to its stable performance across a wide temperature range, excellent ageing characteristics and consistent compression behaviour. - Neoprene sponge rubber
Used for sealing and cushioning applications where durability and resistance to general environmental exposure are required. - EPDM sponge rubber
Selected for applications requiring resistance to weathering and environmental exposure, typically in non-fuel-contact areas.
Vibration Control, Cushioning & Insulation Materials
These materials are used to manage vibration, impact and insulation while maintaining low weight and dimensional stability.
- Polyurethane foams
- Used for cushioning, vibration damping and protection of sensitive components where controlled compression and energy absorption are required.
- Polyethylene foams, including cross-linked grades
- Closed-cell foams used for lightweight protection, spacing and insulation applications requiring consistency and low moisture absorption.
- Melamine foam
- Lightweight, open-cell foam commonly specified for thermal and acoustic insulation in aerospace interiors and non-structural environments.
Typical Applications
Sealing and gasketing for panels, housings and access doors
Vibration isolation and damping
Thermal and acoustic insulation
Cushioning and protection of sensitive components
Spacing and separation within assemblies
Protective pads and liners
Interior and non-structural applications

Fire, Safety & Performance Considerations
Aerospace materials are often required to meet specific fire, smoke and toxicity considerations depending on application and location. Where required, material selection can take into account reaction-to-fire behaviour, smoke generation and suitability for use within aerospace environments, with requirements reviewed at the specification stage.
Compliance, Quality & Material Traceability
Aerospace applications typically require a high level of confidence in material consistency, quality control and traceability. Where required, we can support material traceability through controlled sourcing and documentation, helping ensure materials supplied are appropriate for their intended application.
Quality and documentation requirements can be reviewed at the specification stage to support both production and maintenance environments.
Manufacturing & Custom Conversion Capabilities
We offer material conversion and manufacturing capabilities to support custom aerospace components, from prototype and development work through to repeat supply.
Working from drawings, specifications or approved samples, we support bespoke components and repeat production, helping ensure dimensional accuracy, consistent fit and reliable performance across aerospace applications.
